PAX East 2015: A Convention Virgins Diary

Added: 26.03.2015 22:18 | 17 views | 0 comments

EB: Ever since I was 14 and I started really paying attention to E3, PAX and all the other gaming conventions, its been a dream of mine to finally get to go to one, just to see what its like. To see the sights, meet the people, smell the odors. I just wanted to go, play all of the games, buy the swanky swag, check out new games that no one had ever seen before, and feel important like the thousands of other people there.

The Witcher 3 Preview - PAX East 2015 | NGN

Added: 26.03.2015 10:18 | 57 views | 0 comments

NGN: The opening scene starts with Geralt soaking in a wooden bathtub. Its quiet, serene, and soft - an all-too rare moment of peace for the White Wolf. While Geralt closes his eyes and relaxes a strange, scorpion-like creature slips into the water, pinching the unsuspecting Witcher. Geralt pulls the little monster from the water and tosses it on the floor while bantering with the sorceress who conjured the creature, sitting on a chair naked, save for the towel wrapped around her head. After a moment, the sorceress removes the towel and reveals her long, raven hair, indicating she is Yennefer, Geralts on-again-off-again lover from the novels. Geralt gets out of the tub and pulls on his clothes before exchanging a kiss with Yennefer - they must be on-again at the moment.

PAX East 2015 Hands-on Impressions: Beyond Eyes | Entertainment Buddha

Added: 26.03.2015 0:18 | 45 views | 0 comments

EB: While the demo ended on a somewhat odd twist, Beyond Eyes was an enjoyable experience. Not only was it one of the most unique games at PAX East this year but it got me excited for the full release. The art style is beautiful, the simplistic gameplay is surprisingly fun and the sound design is top notch.

PAX East 2015 Preview: Edge of Space | Entertainment Buddha

Added: 24.03.2015 20:18 | 54 views | 0 comments

Nat Smyth of EB writes: "I was never much of a Minecraft or Terraria man myself. I was always a bit rubbish at them and I was never super creative, and basically me playing those games is worse than giving a chimp LEGOs. Edge Of Space from Handyman Studios changes how I feel about those games though, because its essentially Terraria but in space and with more narrative and more reason to do things."

Splatoon Your Daily Dose of Strategy, Now in Color | Trust in Play

Added: 24.03.2015 0:18 | 19 views | 0 comments

Trust in Play, "Splatoons cute and colorful visuals are misleading at a glance. Splatoon looks like something youd find out of a Saturday morning cartoon, but when you dive into a match youll find theres much more going on under the hood. This is truly a competitive territory based third person shooter wrapped in the style and charm that youd expect from a Nintendo game. At PAX East I finally got the chance to go hands-on with Splatoon and couldn't help but walk away impressed."
